Michael Bitrick

Michael “Mike” Laton Bitrick, 53, of Charlottesville, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2023 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Mike native to Virginia was born on July 4, 1970 to Duane and Jan Bitrick.

Mike graduated from Roanoke College in 1993 and was well known in the Charlottesville area mortgage business having worked with BB&T and most recently First Heritage Mortgage.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Bitrick.

Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved daughters, Victoria Bitrick and Kaitlyn Bitrick; his mother, Jan Bitrick; his brother, Matthew Bitrick; his sister-in-law Traci Bitrick; his nephew Jamous Bitrick; and his niece ‘Turtle’ Bitrick.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Earlysville with Lance King officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes you may make a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
