Mildred F. Hornberger

Mildred F. Hornberger, age 85, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at her home in Palmyra, VA surrounded by those who love her dearly. Millie grew up in Pennsylvania but has lived in Virginia for 47 years. She retired from Sears when she was 60 and stayed busy traveling, sailing, crafting, and shopping for her family. She loved to give presents, baked beautiful cakes and sewed gorgeous Christmas stockings for the entire family. Gene and Millie snow birded to Homosassa, FL with their camper each year to hang out with the manatees, ride bikes and explore. She was loved by all who knew her and made friends wherever she went.

Millie leaves behind her children, Keith Hornberger, Michael Hornberger, and Patricia Robinette, 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 59 years Eugene Hornberger, grandson Joseph Hornberger and great granddaughter Charlotte Grant.
