Nancy Painter Martin

Nancy (Painter) Martin, 84, of Lyndhurst, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024, in Augusta Nursing & Rehabilitation in Fishersville.

Mrs. Martin was born on May 29, 1940, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Harry Thomas and Mary Wallace "Ramsey" Painter.

Nancy Worked at BB & T Barger Insurance where she later retired from. She also spent many years working at the P. Buckley Moss Museum. Nancy spent her life always helping and looking out for her son and granddaughter who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her Sister Jean Massie, and companion Robert K. Huffman.

She is survived by her son Kevin Martin and Wife Kristen; two granddaughters, Savannah and Kaylyn Martin; sister, Beverly "Butch" Humphries and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday August 10th, 2024 at Sherando Community Church officiated by Pastor Billy Coffey.
