Patricia Jean Masuret, of Micco, Florida and formerly of Orange, Virginia, Glen Rose, Texas and Dickson & Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on November 16, 2024.
PJ was born on December 11, 1947, to Charles and Barbara Miller. After graduating from La Reine High School in Suitland, Maryland and getting college under her belt, she went on to lead a productive, successful, prolific, adventurous and fun filled life. Her lifetime was spent working as a flight attendant for Continental and NY Air, riding horses on her ranch in Texas (now Fossil Rim Wildlife Center), passing down and sharing her love of horses and all 4~leggeds with her daughter, fox hunting, running her restaurant, “Twilights,” in Hagerstown, Maryland and becoming a licensed aesthetician working in and owning day spas in Maryland, Virginia and Tennessee. PJ worked and focused on her incredible artistry later in life, enjoying plein air painting in Florida, Tennessee, Texas and Hawaii all the while staying positive and sharing her beautiful smile, her joyful laugh and a story or two with her cherished, beloved friends and family.
PJ’s greatest loves were her daughter, Templeton Thompson and her son-in-law, Sam Gay. In 2020, Patricia married her life long friend, Colonel Donald Masuret (Ret.). They shared a beautiful, long love story that just wasn’t long enough. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael J. Miller, Esq., and her father.
