Patricia Roberta Hunt

Patricia Roberta Hunt, 80, of Charlottesville, VA, passed away on November 16th, 2023 at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital.

Born June 23rd, 1943 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Patrick McMahon and Catherine Theresa McMahon (McSweeney). She was preceded in death by her parents.

Patricia is survived by her husband, James, of Charlottesville, VA; her son, Patrick, of Barboursville, VA; her sister, Nadine McMahon, of Deerfield, IL; her brother, Jack (Joan) McMahon, of North Barrington, IL; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Patricia’s family would like to acknowledge and thank Cammie Sykes and her team of caregivers (Vera, Tonya, Fran, Lorraine, Gladys and Janisse), who were a great help during Patricia’s final years.

A private graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21st, 2023, at Cool Spring Natural Cemetery, 901 Cool Spring Lane, Berryville, VA 22611. A memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, December 14th, 2023, at Church of the Incarnation, 1465 Incarnation Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
