Ralph Virgil "Pete" Williams                          September 14, 2025 Ralph Virgil “Pete” Williams, 71, of Gordonsville, Virginia, passed away at home on Sunday, September 14, 2025. 
Born on January 24, 1954, he was the son of Clarence Howard Williams, Sr. and Rose Dabney Williams. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence. 

In addition to his mother, Pete is survived by his children, Pete Williams and his wife, his favorite daughter-in-law, Beth, Melissa Dowell and her husband, Larry, Jeri Jo Davis and her husband, William, and Katelynn McKee and her husband, Christopher; his brother, Clarence Williams Jr.; his grandchildren, Kelsey Stoner, Drew Stoner, Chase Stoner, Crue Beauchamp, Maci Jo Davis, Kortney Williams, Ryan Williams, and Avery McKee; and his great-grandchildren, Ace Stoner, Everleigh Haga, Axel Stoner, and Koby Stoner. 

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville. Burial will follow immediately at Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont for their generosity and care.
