Polly was born on January 29, 1934, in Rupert, West Virginia to the late Wilbur and Mabel Walkup.
In addition to her parents Polly was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Gadd, son Steven Lee Gadd, daughter Cheryl Ann Gadd Ballerino, brother Mickey Walkup, brother Keith Walkup and sister Peggy Walkup.

Polly is survived by her son, Edwin Gadd Jr. (Karen) of Foster, KY, son-in-law, Tony Ballerino of Sanford, FL, daughter, Sandra Gadd of Charlottesville, 2 nieces; Leana Ginn (Ted) of Hampton, VA and Tina Walkup of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and several other nieces and nephews.

Polly has been a resident of Charlottesville for 30+ years. She was proprietor of Tobacconist and Gifts making many friends through the years. Polly was an avid UVA Cavalier fan. She loved March Madness rooting the Cavaliers to every victory.

There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
