Raymond G. Hand

Raymond G. Hand, Jr., of McGaheysville,Va., formerly from Hicksville, N.Y.Ray was called back home on May 23, 2024 after a brief illness. Beloved son of Martha V. and the late Raymond G., Sr. Devoted father to son Mason, and fiancé of Tarra Fox. Loving brother to Michael (Ann Marie), Ronnie, Dot, Patrick and the late Dennis. Cherished uncle to 10 nieces and nephews 24 great nieces and nephews. Ray had many friends in NY and VA and throughout the East coast whom he considered his family. He was a great animal lover and rescuer of all kinds, even forest creatures. Anyone who knew Ray loved him and his quirky sense of humor. He will be missed and never forgotten by all. Rest in peace Ray.In accordance with Ray's wishes he will be cremated privately. The family will hold a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
