Rev. Gordon M. Lee

Reverend Gordon M. Lee, Sr., 83, of Blackstone, VA passed away on Wednesday,
November 29, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, a great role model and friend. Gordon is survived by his wife of 63 years, Connie Akers Lee; three sons, Thomas Scott Lee, Sr. (Jennifer), Gordon M. Lee, Jr., (Patti) and Christopher Shawn Lee (Allison) all of Blackstone; ten grandchildren, Matthew Trinite (Ivy), Megan Lee, Will Lee, Thomas Lee, Kara Lee, Carter Lee, Charlotte Lee, Mabel Lee, Lizzy McDaniel and Alexx Anthony; two great grandchildren, Aubrey Trinite and Sammy Trinite. Gordon served 50 years as a pastor of the Disciples of Christ Churches including Centennial Christian Church in McCoy, VA for 18 years and retired after his final seven years with Poole Christian Church in Church Road, VA. A Celebration of Gordon’s Life will take place at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023 at the Pond, 1037 Daniel Rd., Blackstone, VA 23824. Please wear casual clothes, footwear and bring your chair. The family will gather at 101 on Main following the service at 101 S. Main St. in Blackstone for a covered dish meal and fellowship. May we all strive to touch lives as Gordon did.
