Rex Edward McDaniel

Rex Edward McDaniel, 86, of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Charlottesville, Va., passed on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Louisa Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Rex was born on June 22, 1937 to the late George William and Helen McCloud McDaniel. In addition to his parents, Rex was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Juanita Frances McDaniel; one daughter, Juanita Gray Ingallenero; one grandson, Tyler Nicholas Tolomeo; and one brother, George William McDaniel II.

Rex is survived by four daughters, Bridget lee Tolomeo (Armand Campanile) of Ocala, Fla., Rhonda Effie Kidd of Buckingham, Va., Faith McDaniel Wyland (Keith Mann) of Keswick, Va., and Wendy Ellen Hammond (Michael) of Palmyra, Va.; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Rex was a self-made man who built his own house and owned his own business. Rex enjoyed country music, going to concerts, visiting family and watching the birds. He lived a simple life.
