Robert Eric Crowell of Louisa, VA passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at UVA Medical Center. He was born on February 18, 1973 in Warrenton, VA to the late Robert Morrison Crowell and Anna Mae Settle Gore.

Eric was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He grew up in Culpeper County and worked as a heavy equipment operator for most of his life. He will be remembered for his caring heart and always wanting to help people.

He is survived by his brother Steve A. Gore; sisters, Robbin Crowell Bokhari, Janet G. Sedwick (Steve) of Orange, Carolyn G. Longmire (David) of Midlothian, Pam G. Geer (Mike) of Madison, Jerry Crowell Lowe (Bob) of Goode, Bobbie Crowell Lee (Wayne) of TN; his nieces and nephews, Jamie Sedwick Lamb, Jacqueline Sedwick Snow, Stevan A. Sedwick, William Gore, Ashleigh L. Hudgins, Lindsay L. Gray, Michael Geer, Jr., Adam Geer, Dara Hayden, and Randall Lee; great nieces and nephews, Makayla Hayes, Austin Snow, Ryan Gore, Raylin Gore, Shiner Gore, Brady Geer, Tanner Geer, Jessa Kate Geer, Jackson Gray, Samuel Lee, and Eliana Lee; his longtime friend Vanessa Johnson of Troy, and his beloved dog “Bella” that he adored with all his heart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Ennis Gore, his beloved

Daddy Gore; nephew, Logan D. Hayes, and great nephew, Liam Hudgins; sister-in-law, Cathy Gore.

Preddy Funeral Home in Orange will conduct the services.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 14th at 1:00p. at Graham Cemetery at 14191 Constitution Highway, Orange. VA 22960.
