Ronetta P. Clarke

Ronetta Jean Clarke, affectionately known as "Ronnie" to her cherished family and friends, entered eternal rest on April 25, 2024. Born on January 27, 1940, in Charlottesville Virginia to Donald E. Powell and Mary Brooks Powell. Ronnie's life was a beautiful testament to faith, family and love.

Ronnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Meredith H. “Noona” Clarke, Jr. Together, they shared a unique love and understanding, creating countless memories that will be cherished forever. She is survived by her brothers, George “Butch” Powell (Lauri) of Orange, Va and Donald “Rocky” Powell of Orange, Va.

She is also survived by her loving daughter, Donna Clarke of Alexandria, her devoted son, Michael E. Clarke, and his wife Jill of Free Union, and her adored grandson, Carter Clarke, also of Free Union. Ronnie's family was her pride and joy. As a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother, Ronnie's legacy of warmth and love will continue on.

Ronnie's kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Her friendship left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.

Though she may no longer be with us in body, Ronnie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Rest in peace, your love will be forever cherished, and your presence deeply missed.

The immediate family will have a private graveside service.
