Sandra Spangler Knicely

Sandra Spangler Knicely, 82, passed away at home Wednesday September 18, 2024 with her loving family present.

She was born June 13, 1942 to the late Robert H. and the late Elizabeth Twitty Spangler in Waynesboro, Virginia.

Sandy was an active member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a home maker, loved raising her kids, being with her grandchildren, and watching over Coach Knicely.

Surviving family is husband of 60 years Ron; two daughters, Beth Potts and Jackie Walter; one son, Kevin and his wife Sarah; grandchildren, Erin, Michael, Kathryn Potts, Will and Tanner Walter, Ellie and Hazel Knicely; sister in law Frannie Knicely; and special daughters, Nan and Dana; along with her cousins, nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Shenandoah for their exceptional care especially her caregivers Amy and Loreal.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00A.M. on Monday, September 23 at Riverview Cemetery officiated by Pastor Paul Pingel with a reception to follow at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.
