Sandra Lee Bellon, 68, of Brightwood, VA, fell asleep in death on March 29, 2024, at her home. She was born January 15, 1956 in Washington, D.C., to Bertha and William Wadsworth. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael Bellon, her daughter Kristen Thompson (Evan) of Culpeper VA, and her two sons, Joe Bellon (April) of Oceanside CA, and Josh Bellon (Hannah), and grandchildren JJ and Leo, all of Rancho Cordova, CA. 

Known warmly as Sandy, she enjoyed cooking, especially baking, painting, her friends, and God’s creation. Sandy had a beautiful smile and a deep love for her husband Mick. Their children and grandchildren, and special pal, their fur baby Rocky, were Sandy’s world, and her eyes would light up when sharing stories about each of them. 

Sandy especially enjoyed telling others about the Bible’s promises of God’s Kingdom. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1980 and served faithfully for 44 years, up until the day of her passing. She was confident in Jehovah’s promises for the future, including hope in the resurrection. Sandy will be deeply missed and we look forward to seeing her again. 

The family has greatly appreciated the love and support shown by the local congregation, as well as friends and family all over who knew and loved Sandy. 

There will be a service held on Saturday, April 13th at 1:30pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 15103 Rixeyville Road Culpeper, VA 22701, with Eric Thompson officiating.
