Sarah Ann Rivera

Sarah Ann Rivera, age 51 of Orange, VA, died on March 29, 2026, in an automobile accident on Lahore Road, Orange, VA. Sarah was the driver.

Sarah was born on May 23rd, 1974, in Mayday Hospital, Croydon, Surrey, England. She was survived by her mother, Patricia Cumberbatch of Orange, the daughter of Preston Cumberbatch, who passed in 2011. Her big sister Rachael from London,, England, her two sons Israel and Justin Rivera, her four Grandchildren, Sebastian, Ariel (doodlebug), Archie, and baby Arlen. Her daughter-in-law, Alex, Kaitlin, and her brother-in-law, Phil. Her best friend and ex-partner Fredo.

Sarah was born in England and went to school there until she was 12 years old. She moved with her mum and dad to Miami, where she had her two boys. She moved to Orange many years later, where she stayed until she passed.

Sarah had many friends and family. We will try to remember you all, but please don’t be upset if we don’t, she knew who you were to her. Her childhood best friends Nadine and Elaine in England, her USA and UK cousins, aunts, and uncles.

The Service will be at Preddy’s in Orange on Friday, 10th April 2026, from 4 pm to 6 pm. Everyone who would like to come and say their final goodbyes are welcome.
