Sarah Jane Bedillion

Sarah Jane Bedillion, 75, of Zion Crossroads, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at her residence. She was born April 14, 1948 in Montgomery County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Coy Clifford Kingrea and Nellie Virginia Shifflett Kingrea. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford James Bedillion; and a brother, Leo Kingrea.

Mrs. Bedillion was a retired Albemarle County school bus driver instructor. She was a member of the New Beginning Pentecostal Holiness Church in Barboursville.

She is survived by daughters, Deborah Marshall Maupin and husband Larry of Zion Cross Roads, and Faith Glennell Marshall and husband Price of Charlottesville; sons, George Howard Marshall Jr. and wife Angie of Ruckersville, and Brandon Todd Marshall and wife Pam of Louisa; brothers, Coy Clifford Kingrea  Jr. and wife Teresa of Goochland, and Jessie Carroll Kingrea and wife Brenda of Louisa; sister, Frances Pauline Kingrea Shifflett and husband Joseph of Zion Cross Roads; sister-in-law, Venna Weist of Gordonsville; grandchildren, Brad Maupin and wife Amber, Amber Maupin Wingfield and husband Jon, Jacob Marshall, Gabriel Marshall, Grace Marshall, Rylee Motor, Jon Motor, and Kaitlynn Tillman.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Gordonsville, with interment in Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville. Pastor Shawn Edwards will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
