Shirley Lee Colvin                                     July 2, 2025 Shirley Lee Colvin, 90, of Red Hill Road, Orange died on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at her residence. Shirley was born on October 31, 1934 in Madison County and was the daughter of the late Ernest McCue Colvin and Mary Elizabeth Kube Colvin.
Shirley is survived by two daughters; Darice Griffin and partner Tom Bogan of Ellerbe, NC, and Alecia Deane and partner Howard Partelow of Richmond; a son Michael Archer Deane of Orange; five grandchildren Jake Plumb, Lauren Kimberly Plumb, Nicholas B. McColley, Travis Griffin, and Keely Griffin; two great grandchildren Triston Humes and fiancée Dedriana Kilby, and Jalen Humes; and one great great grandchild A’Zahn Humes.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at https://www.heart.org/
