Tammy Pearl Dean
January 26, 1963 – September 22, 2023

Tammy has departed this life, and has been reunited with her mother, sister, son, and beloved canine best friend, Bo.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Freda (Evans) and Earl Clark, her sister Nadine Clark, two bothers Gary and Eugene Clark, and a son Charles Coleman Dean.

Tammy is survived by her daughter Kristian L. Harlan and her husband Allen of Louisa, VA, her son Charles M. Dean, Jr. and his wife Emily of Scottsville, VA, a brother Wayne Clark of Batesville, VA, and her sister-in-law April Clark of Crozet, VA. Most importantly, her legacy will carry on with her two grandsons Kevin Allen and Elijah Ray who she considered her greatest joy, and lights of her life.

Tammy was one of the first female graduates of the University of Virginia Plumber Steamfitters Apprenticeship Program in 1998. Prior to her retirement in 2019 she had given thirty years of dedication to UVA’s Facilities Management department.

Respecting her wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service.
