Ted Eugene Jenkins
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ted Eugene Jenkins , 69 years old of Waynesboro Virginia. A beloved friendship, father, partner, who left this world on September 15, 2024 at his residence. After a life filled with boundless love, laughter and a passion for riding his motor cycle and taking care of his family. Remembered for his infectious smile, unwavering kindness and dedication to family, Ted touched the lives of all who knew him. He will forever be cherished in our hearts and his legacy of warmth will continue to shine brightly.
Ted was born in Germany, he was the son of the late Charles Andrew and the late Wilma Lambert Jenkins . He was preceded in death by his loving wife Debbie Sue Jenkins of their residence, his twin daughter Tabitha Shaunt’e Poindexter who was his pride and joy as well as his boys, his grandsons Kawan and K’Shawn McCarthy both of Waynesboro Va, his brother CA(Diane) Jenkins of Staunton Va, Bobby Jenkins (Terry whom we just recently lost as well) of Middlebrook Va, Fred Jenkins of Staunton, Va , Terry Jane Farris of Staunton Va, Donna Kaye Fisher of Nevada, Las Vegas, Jackie Jenkins who is no longer with us. Gloria Rowe of Staunton, Va, Terry Crosby of Staunton Va, Diane Spurlock of Crimora Va. Lisa Smallwood Shelton (Christy), Hike Crosby of Crimora Va. Sharon Farley, Karen Hirtriter, Penelope Crosby and Mary Jane Crosby who all are no longer with us. Along with a lot of special nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Ted also leaves behind two very special friends the late William Bill Perry and Charlie Wolfe who he thought the world of. He retired from Waynesboro Public School Board after 35 plus years where he dedicated his life to.
Special thank you to Legacy Hospice for all the love and care that you showed my dad especially Ms. Diane we couldn’t have made it this far without you. Along with family and friends. We’d also like to thank Sam Lee for speaking on behalf of my dad. He’s along great friend to our family who we love and appreciate dearly.
His Celebration of Life will be on October 12, 2024 at McDow Funeral Home 11:00 a.m. 1701 West Main Street Waynesboro Va. 22980
