Thomas "Tom" George Allen

Thomas “Tom” George Allen, 59, of Lahore Road, Orange died on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. Tom was born on January 9, 1965, in St. Joseph, Michigan, and was the son of the late George Junior Allen and Stella Maxine Miller Allen.Tom is survived by his wife Angela Miller Allen or Orange; one son Thomas George Allen II of Orange; a brother Joseph Andrew Allen and wife Carla of Kentwood, MI; two sisters Deborah “Deb” Diane Allen and husband Glenn Poage of Ruckersville, and Georgiana “Gigi” Morrison and husband Charles, of Kingsland, GA; a mother-in-law Wanda Woycik of Orange; a brother-in-law Doug Miller and wife Teresa of Orange; and various nieces and nephews. Tom was a member of the Piedmont Sportsman Club and worked for the Royal Foundations Company. A memorial funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Noon at the Preddy Funeral Chapel in Orange interment will be private. Rev. Barry Higgins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 Saturday before the service. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Run Baptist Church, 13267 Blue Ridge Twp, Somerset, VA. 22972. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
