Thrumond Randolph Lohr

Thurmond Randolph Lohr, 93 of Aroda, Va., passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 in Charlottesville, Va. He was born on October 30, 1930 to the late Douglas R. Lohr and Mabel Elizabeth Lohr. He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Vincent “Dynamite” Lohr and three sisters, Vivian Ray Dodson, Patricia Ann Ness, and Velma Grubb.

He is survived by his brother, Bryant Mike Lohr; special niece and nephew, Diane Dodson and Stewart Ness; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Church of the Gospel with Pastor Robert Gray officiating. Interment will be in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will recieve friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church.
