Tyler Anthony Johnson

Tyler Anthony Johnson, age 30, born on July 4, 1993, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024, with his family by his side.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Beth and Carlton Harlow of Bumpass, and Larry and Tina Johnson of Gordonsville; brothers, Zachary Johnson, and Matthew Harlow (Madison) of Bumpass; sister, Lawren Johnson of Gordonsville; three nephews, Junior, Jaxson, and Grayson; grandparents, Patricia and Maurice Shelton of Bumpass, and Judy Branham of Waynesboro; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, including his pageant family.

He was preceded in death by his Mawmaw, Barbara Hall, and Pawpaw, David Branham; and Nanny and Papa Johnson.

Tyler was a stranger to no one, and you could see his infectious smile from miles away. He will truly be missed by so many. But it brings his family comfort knowing he has been reunited with his Mawmaw, and we know they are dancing together in heaven.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
