Tyler Wayne Roach
Tyler Wayne Roach passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2024, at the age of 29. Born on December 29, 1994, to Warren Scott Roach, Sr. and Sharon Breeden Roach, Tyler was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence illuminated the lives of everyone he encountered.
Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Priscilla Breeden, and his paternal grandfather, Warren Lee Roach. He is survived by his devoted parents, Warren and Sharon, and his brothers, Warren Scott Roach, Jr. (Jessica) and Travis Lee Roach. His paternal grandmother, Barbara Roach, also survives him.
Known affectionately as “Uncle Tye Tye,” Tyler was a cherished uncle to his nephew, Gaige Roach, and his nieces, Cheyanne Roach and Ava "Rosie" Roach. His genuine affection for his family was evident in his consistent presence and support, and he always made sure they knew how much they meant to him. Tyler also shared a special bond with his Aunt Cindy Scott, whom he lovingly called "Cidney," his Uncle Wade Wyant, and a dear family friend, Barney Basham.
Tyler’s kindness and resilience were evident throughout his life. He met life’s challenges with a sweet and loving heart, navigating both the highs and lows with grace and warmth.
Tyler was a member of the Nortonsville Church of God and was never afraid to open his Bible and discuss it with others. He graduated from William Monroe High School in 2013 and from the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC, in 2016. At Precision Gas Piping, LLC in Ruckersville, where he worked, Tyler saw Roger Hill as a second father and cherished their close bond.
Tyler started racing go-karts at the age of 8 and practically grew up at Capital Speedway in Ashland, VA. He continued his passion for racing through the VMCRA Series from 2011 to 2023, excelling as a competitor, crew member, and spectator. Tyler was honored with the VMCRA Sportsmanship Award in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023, reflecting his vibrant spirit and unwavering commitment.
Outside of racing, Tyler enjoyed fishing with his loyal dog, Blake, camping, and cooking over his fire pit. His love for bluegrass music was a reflection of his joyful and genuine personality. Tyler’s ability to uplift and connect with others made him a beloved figure in his community.
Tyler’s memory will be cherished forever by those who knew him. His sweet, loving, and genuine nature left a lasting impact, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
