Vernon Snow, Jr., 77, of Stanardsville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on November 25, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Snow, and son, Jacob Snow.

Vernon is survived by his daughter, Rachel Snow (Mark) of Elkton, Virginia; son, Adam Snow and wife Teresa, of Stanardsville, Virginia; four grandchildren, Savannah, Sierra, Shaylyn and Cody Snow; and a special niece, Betty Lou Snow Clayton.

Vernon owned and operated Ridge Plumbing & Heating for 49 years! Dad had a strong faith in God, a sweet sense of humor, and he showed Love to everyone!

The family would like to give a special Thank You to Mark for all of his help during the last several years, helping to take care of our dad; to Jim and Terri Knight for the countless visits to brighten dad's day; and to Dewey and Joyce Taylor for all you have done!

Visitation will be held at Preddy’s Funeral home in Madison on Friday, December 1st, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. The graveside service will be at the Stanardsville Cemetery on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Frankie Chapman and Pastor Glen Shifflett officiating.
