Virginia Olive Lay                             February 28, 2025 Virginia Olive Lay 86, of Bealeton, VA, formally of Rapidan VA, passed away on February 28, 2025, at the Fauquier Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Alton E Via, her mother Virginia Bradley Via, and a son Donald C Lay, Jr.
She is survived by her husband Donald Courtenay Lay; daughters Stephanie “Cindy” Mills and husband Raymond of Boston, VA, Vicki Richards of Charlottesville, Leeann Chipok and husband Steve of Culpeper; brother Fred “Cotton” Via of Florida; ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, 11:00 AM at the Lay family cemetery in Rapidan VA. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family with arrangements.
