William Arthur "Willie" Sullivan, Jr.

William Arthur Sullivan Jr. “Willie”, born July 1, 1960, of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away on November 20, 2023.

Willie was a proud man and loved spending time with his family and friends. He held a special place in his heart for Genesis Rush and Del Thompson who spent cherished time with him at his home. He served the Charlottesville area as a painter by trade.

Willie is proceeded in death by his mother, Hazel Arline Gibson; brother, Brian O’Neal Sullivan; nephew, Paul Lewis Bryant, and brother-in-law, Carroll Wayne Gibson.

He is survived by his children Liam Alexander Sullivan and Adam Wayne Sullivan. As well as his sisters: Karen Gibson, Lisa Walker (Michael), Gina Christopher, Donna Bryant (Montie), Kerrie Gibson, and Sister-in-law Kristina Sullivan. Along with his eight nieces and nephews, and special friends Connie and Susan.

Willie’s family and friends welcome you to attend his graveside service to be held at 11 AM on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Holly Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation for the excellent care and compassion provided by The Hospice of the Piedmont.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont (www.hopva.org).
