William "Billy" Howard Snow

William Howard “Billy” Snow, 76, of Orange, Virginia died peacefully on March 7, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Born August 29th, 1947 in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Howard Snow, his mother, Mary Frances Morris Snow, and his brother, Earl Morris.

Billy retired as Superintendent of VDOT after 35 years. In his younger years, he was active and well-known in the softball community as “Hank”. He was an avid Virginia Cavaliers sports fan and loved spending time doing anything with his family and grandkids.

Billy is survived by his wife, Evelyn Denise Snow, Daughters, Teresa Snow Crawford, husband Alan and Wendy Gay Breeden, Son, Allen Snow and wife Stacy, Sister, Barbara Kent, Grandchildren, Tyson Snow, Brayden Hinkle, Nicholas Crawford, Sara Kate Snow, Davis Hinkle, and Tanner Hinkle, Mother-in-Law, Jean Dempsey.

The family will welcome guests to a family night on Monday, March 11 from 6-8 P.M. at Preddy Funeral Home, in Orange, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, March 12.
