William "Frizzle" Henry Williams

- July 31, 2026

William Henry "Frizzle" Williams Jr., 58, of Amelia, Virginia, entered eternal rest on July 31, 2026. Frizzle was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness, wisdom, and hardworking spirit touched the lives of so many. He took great pride in his career as a farmer, where his dedication to the land and love of agriculture were evident in everything he did. He had a remarkable gift for growing just about anything and found joy in keeping everything green and thriving. An avid outdoorsman, Frizzle loved spending his time fishing and hunting when the season allowed. Many evenings were spent listening to the hounds run before heading out to gather them afterward—a tradition he cherished. He also made a lasting impact on many young farmers, generously sharing his knowledge, experience, and "old man wisdom" with anyone willing to learn. Frizzle was preceded in death by his father, William H. Williams Sr., and his beloved granddaughter, Arianna Peyton. He leaves to cherish his memory his former spouse, Vicki Gibson; his children, Shernita Baker (Kenneth), Shayna Mayberry (Jason), Shayla Williams, and his young daughter, Berkely Adams. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Jakob Johnson, Leah Stowe, Jam Mayberry, and Cobi Mayberry, along with many bonus grandchildren whom he loved as his own. Frizzle will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of hard work, generosity, and love for the outdoors will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. The family kindly asks for your prayers and support during this difficult time as they mourn the loss of a man who meant so much to so many.
