Zane Rose
With immeasurable sadness, we announce the passing of our precious child Zane, who left this world on April 18, 2026 at the tender age of 3. Though his time with us was brief, Zane filled our lives with boundless love, joy and light. His laughter, curiousity and sweet spirit touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing him.
Zane was a boy who truly loved being outside finding adventure in the simplist of things like playing in the dirt and getting messy, riding the tractor or tossing a frisbee. He enjoyed dancing to music and exploring the world around him. But behind his playful spirit, Zane was a tender-hearted soul who cherished his family, his bond with his brothers and sister was undeniable. His laughter and the love he gave us so freely will be missed every single day. He leaves behind a family who loves him beyond measure and who will forever hold his memory close.
More than anything, he shared a special bond with his grandmother "GiGi". He was her little helper, always by her side, eager to lend a hand and brighten her day. She loved him with a depth only a grandmother can give, and he loved her right back with all his heart. Their connection was something beautiful. When she passed just months before him, there was an emptiness left behind. But now, we hold close the comforting thought that she was there to welcome him home, arms wide open, holding him tight just as she always did. In Heaven, they are reunited, their bond unbroken, their love eternal. We find peace in believing they are together again—laughing, watching over us until the day we are reunited.
As we carry him in our hearts, we look to Heaven and ask our sweet boy to watch over his mother, to be her guardian angel from above guiding us, comforting us, and surrounding us with the same love he gave so freely here on earth. We ask, too, for gentle signs—small reminders that he is near, that his spirit lives on, and that we are never alone. Forever Loved, Forever 3.
Zane is survived by his parents, Nicholas Rose and Vanessa Drury; siblings, Carson Rose, Noah Rose, and Sawyer Rose; his aunts, Jearlyn Peterson, Chessy Rose, Shalana Peterson, Star Peterson, Shannon Peterson, and Christina Owens; his uncles, Kenneth Peterson, Elliott Rose, and Joe Peterson; and his cousins, Cori Peterson, Coltyn Peterson, Luxtyn Peterson, and Freya Rose. Zane is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dennis & Marie Peterson, Wanda Simmons, and Aubrey Drury.
A service will be held at Preddy Funeral Home for family and friends at a later date.
