James Edward Currier

James Edward Currier, 79 of Gordonsville, died Tuesday July 24, 2023 at the University of Virginia hospital. Born December 15, 1943 in Albemarle County, he was the son of the late Earl Washington Currier and Ruby Belle Johnson. Mr. Currier worked for Bartlett Tree Company for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Meadows Currier of Gordonsville, two sons, James E. Currier, Jr. of North Carolina, Theodore Anthony Meadows of Scottsville, one brother, William Herbert Currier of Fredericksburg, one sister, Barbara Baldacci of Fredericksburg, three grandchildren, Dillon Lane Currier, Michael Anthony Meadows, Cindy Marie Meadows, four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
