Linwood K. Crawford, Jr.

Linwood K. Crawford Jr, age 84, of Gordonsville, Virginia, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024.

Born on November 1, 1939, he was the son of Linwood K. Crawford Sr. and Christine C Hester.

Raised in the Belmont neighborhood of Charlottesville, a graduate of Lane High School and a long career as a Master Locksmith, Linwood had a passion for old cars. You routinely would see he and Betty at a local car show or him tooling around in his 1956 black Studebaker Hawk.

Linwood is survived by his wife, Betty F. Crawford; his daughters, Debra Smith, Antoinette C. Haley (Bil), and Frances Crawford-Morris (Darryn); his grandchildren, Heather Boyajian, Nicole Savant, Dana Fraedrich, Tres Clayborn, and Elise Clayborn; his great-grandchildren, Devlin Boyajian, Harrison Boyajian, Reagen Boyajian, and Penelope Savant; and his sister, Rebecca C. Rogoll (Dieter), along with nephew Mike Rogoll (Gwen) and niece Cathy Rogoll Sprouse.

His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville, Virginia. Family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will follow at Church of the Crossroads.
