Wilmer E. Ishee, Jr.

Wilmer E. Ishee, Jr., 67, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on December 20, 2023, in New Braunfels. He was born August 14, 1956, in Nederland, Texas to Wilmer Sr. and Martha (Gressett) Ishee.

Will’s favorite hobby was BBQ and took a lot of pleasure in BBQ competitions. He enjoyed traveling, his favorite places were Gettysburg, PA. He loved Key West and spending time at the beach. He loved his kids more than life itself.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary;his children Delayna Ishee of Los Angeles, Ca., Angela Rittenhouse of Port Republic, Va., and Jonathan Ishee of Leesburg, Va.; his father, Wilmer Ellis Ishee Sr.; and his brother Olen Ishee.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Hill & Wood Funeral Home, 201 N. 1st Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902. Burial will follow at Monticello Memory Gardens.
